As you reach middle age, it's time to acknowledge these fundamental realities: 1. Time doesn't equal money; leverage your expertise to achieve financial freedom. 2. Partner with people who elevate your game, rather than competing against them. 9. Substance abuse is a dream killer; protect your potential. 10. Comfort zones are creativity coffins; venture out to grow. 11. Privacy is power; share wisely and guard your personal life. 12. Substance abuse can derail your destiny; prioritize your well-be...

In the midst of turmoil, I found my unshakeable anchor in God

In the midst of turmoil, I found my unshakeable anchor in God. He was my rock, my fortress, and my savior all at once. Whenever I felt overwhelmed, I would run to Him for refuge, knowing that He would protect me from harm. His presence was my shield, deflecting the arrows of adversity, and His power was the horn of my salvation, announcing victory over my struggles. In my darkest moments, I would cry out to the Lord, who is worthy of all praise and honor. And every time, He would deliver me from the clutches of my enemies - whether they were physical, emotional, or spiritual. He was my stronghold, my place of safety, and my guiding light in the darkness. Through every trial and tribulation, I learned to trust in God's unwavering love and protection. He was my rock, my foundation, and my salvation - and I knew that with Him by my side, I could face anything that came my way. ~ 𝓙𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓮𝔂 𝓸𝓯 𝓛𝓲𝓯𝓮 The Learning Hub 2024

GatesNotes GatesNotes The Clean Industrial Revolution is in London at the BE Summit

GatesNotes GatesNotes The Clean Industrial Revolution is in London at the BE Summit A composite of climate-related imagery including industrial pipes, solar panels, a tractor in a field, steam from manufacturing, farmers harvesting crops, a crane on a construction site, windmills, a man holding a tablet in a field, and construction workers preparing rebar for concrete. By Bill Gates | June 25, 2024 The problems caused by climate change are often in the headlines. It’s less often that we hear about the progress being made in the fight against it. But through my investments and work with Breakthrough Energy, I’m lucky to have insight into a lot of the most exciting innovations—and the companies bringing them to life. At this year’s Breakthrough Energy Summit in London, over 100 of them have gathered to share the solutions they’ve been working on that are ready to get to work and tackle climate change today. They include: Window glass so energy efficient that it performs like a see-throug...

People are naturally drawn to the idea of having someone as special as you in their lives. They are captivated by your essence, mesmerized by the qualities that set you apart. But here's the truth: most people aren't used to rare. They find it unfamiliar, and they struggle to understand and appreciate it fully. This unfamiliarity often leads them to fall short in treating you with the respect and reverence you deserve. And that’s where they lose you. When you possess qualities that are rare and exceptional, you evoke a sense of awe and admiration. People are intrigued by your uniqueness, by the light you bring into their lives. They want to be close to you, to bask in your radiance. However, admiration alone is not enough. It requires a deep understanding and a genuine appreciation of your value, something that many are not equipped to provide. Being rare means that you see the world differently. You have a depth and complexity that many cannot fathom. Your perspectives are enr...

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening BY ROBERT FROST Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though;   He will not see me stopping here    To watch his woods fill up with snow.    My little horse must think it queer    To stop without a farmhouse near    Between the woods and frozen lake    The darkest evening of the year.    He gives his harness bells a shake    To ask if there is some mistake.    The only other sound’s the sweep    Of easy wind and downy flake.    The woods are lovely, dark and deep,    But I have promises to keep,    And miles to go before I sleep,    And miles to go before I sleep.
