The Learning Hub: Top Rules Of Life

1. Walk away from anyone that gives you bad vibes without feeling guilty. It’s your life. Do what makes you happy. 2. Spend more time with people who bring out the best in you. 3. Learn to appreciate what you have, before time makes you appreciate what you had. 4. You are not a bad person for saying “NO” to something that you don’t feel is right for you. 5. Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from negativity. 6. Bad vibes don’t go with my outfit. People are going to talk about you, no matter what you do. So you might as well do whatever brings you joy and live your best life. 7. Top dating tip: Don’t settle for less just because it’s available.  8. Bad days give experience. 9. Worst days give lessons, and Best days give memories. 10. If someone makes you miserable more than they make you happy. It doesn’t matter how much you love them, you need to let them go. 11. The Learning Hub: Talking about plant-based meat with Questlove

GatesNotes Bill Gates and Questlove standing together. By Bill Gates | August 28, 2023 Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson is the ultimate multi-hyphenate. He’s a Grammy-winning musician—the drummer and joint frontman of the Roots, who entertained people for decades before becoming the in-house band for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He’s an Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker. He’s the author (or co-author) of seven books, with another one on the way next year. He’s a publisher, too, with a new imprint that is set to release Sly Stone’s memoir. He’s a serial (and cereal) entrepreneur. He’s even a professor at New York University. The first is obvious: Who wouldn’t? The second is more personal: Questlove is an investor in and champion of some revolutionary plant-based foods, including a vegetarian Philly cheesestea...

But the reality is, I'm a lot more afraid of a tiny mosquito than a great white. And my fear is backed up by data. Mosquitoes and the diseases they carry kill more people in a single day than sharks kill in 100 years. So each year, I like to call attention to the world’s deadliest animal—along with the incredible science and innovation mobilizing to defeat the diseases it spreads. This week, I’m sharing stories on my blog about the people leading this fight, the places they’re focusing their efforts, the technology they’re using (and creating from the ground up) to make an impact, and the obstacles that are still in the way. 1 A storied fragrance company in Switzerland is tapping into its massive scent library to figure out whether some fragrances that smell nice to h...

You need to feel the hollowness & the void . You need to learn how to get over this . These are the things all men/ women must learn , don’t avoid them, 3. It’s good for your mental health not to have an opinion about everything , 4. You can’t improve if you don’t know what you’re doing is wrong . Make time for stillness . Behavioural conditioning is a long process , & breaking a habit takes time. Be patient & kind with yourself , 5. Your past isn’t a prescription for your future . The fear of something is almost always worse than the thing itself , 6.Fakeness reeks . Be congruent with your personality , & you’ll naturally be confident .
